Our Story
We are a prominent food service company in Nigeria has a rich history of culinary innovation and expansion. We began our journey with a humble bakery at Eleme, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State in 2004
In 2005, We diversified our offerings with the introduction of Nibbles Creamery, featuring delectable treats such as cakes and ice cream. The same year saw the inauguration of Kilimanjaro, a quick-service restaurant in Rivers State, which quickly gained popularity, leading to the establishment of numerous branches across the state.
Expanding our footprint, we ventured into the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in 2009 with our Maitama outlet and into the Lagos market with our first store in Ozumba Mbadiwe in 2012. Subsequently, our company penetrated the Southeast market in 2012 with Polo Park as the entry point, followed by expansion into other South-South locations, starting with Yenagoa in 2013. Our success in Lagos prompted further exploration into the Southwest market, culminating in the opening of our first store in Ibadan in May 2021, which has since burgeoned into a network of five outlets, and counting. Recognizing the untapped potential of the Northern market, we established two additional Kilimanjaro branches each in Ilorin, Kwara State (2022), and more recently in Kaduna (2023).
In 2012, we diversified its offerings with the inception of Pizza Jungle in Sanusi Fafunwa, Victoria Island, Lagos. Recognizing market demands and opportunities, the management team revamped the brand for optimal performance in 2017. Spotting a gap in the market and seizing an opportunity, we introduced KiliGrill in 2016, a street food brand with Shawarma as its flagship product, catering to the discerning palates of its patrons in Port Harcourt. This has spread to many locations in Nigeria.
Operating from about 200 locations across our various business units, we continue to expand our presence nationwide, committed to delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our valued customers. With our mantra of “Better Food, Better Service, Better People,” and a dedicated workforce of over 4,100 employees, Sundry Foods upholds excellence as its guiding principle in all interactions with stakeholders
